This was part of my wifes Christmas gift last year. She wore it and the chain broke the next day without her knowing. The pendant fell in the street and by the time we retraced our steps it had been run over and damaged. It was less expensive to bring to a local jeweler to repair. The pearl was damaged and could not be repaired. but we were able to reset it and repair the setting. I then had to buy a better chain.
