I bought the necklace for my wedding, and it's perfect. It is exactly how I hoped it would be, and easily at half the price of a lower-quality necklace from the department stores. I bought this for my wife for her birthday. I wasn't sure if she'd like pearls, so I started with something affordable. Well, she loved the necklace. I was worried that there might some imperfections that would reveal that it wasn't a high priced piece of jewelry, but there weren't. It looks very elegant. The only thing that my didn't like was the length, so we exchanged the 16" for an 18".

I purchased the 45 inch rope to wear everywhere; I wear it long, looped twice or three times for a different necklace everytime. The pearls have a beautiful shine to them, and are a nice soft white color. They are perfect with any outfit, whether dressed down, up, or to the office. I wear these every day. They are a replacement for a pear of pearls I used to have that fell off as I was walking down the NYC city streets. My 16 inch necklace has knots that are small and therefore the pearls slide. I have to manually put the pearls back so they are positioned evenly on the necklace. Still good value for the price.
