These pearls make a very nice gift. While they aren't the largest pearls, their flawless shape and gorgeous color (black with shades of purple) tantalize the senses. Though the fish-hook clasp is attractive, it slipped the hook once, sending the pearls to the floor. I would recommend going with a different clasp. Otherwise, these are a fantastic buy.

These black pearls are very beautiful, the luster is great and wonderfully matched. It doesn't show as much variety of colours in the luster as I wanted, but they are still gorgeous. I had the standard white gold round clasp and it wasn't very good; I prefer the less expensive fish hook clasp because the round clasp didn't feel very secure.
