Each pearl looks has a noticable and irregular seam or many small divots that are dull and not shiny like a pearl is supposed to be. It basically looks extremely cheap, much cheaper than the $20 strands at the mall.

This necklace is perfect with a collared blouse. I love the way it lays on my neck. It is very difficult to get the strands straightened and the cord twists eaily. The pearls are so beautiful that a little twist is hardly a concern.
