PearlsOnly welcomes Gerry Reid - VP Ecommerce and IT

Houston, Texas - October 7, 2005, PearlsOnly.com is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerry Reid as the Vice President of eCommerce and Information Technologies. Reid has over 14 years of eCommerce and IT experience, with nine years of that specialized in Internet technologies, programming and database backend architecture.

In addition to his experience, Reid has also lectured on the subject of “Internet Systems Technologies” at the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Prior to joining PearlsOnly Reid was Director of Irelands largest ISP, Ireland On-Line, IOL. There he developed and launched the search engine and online infrastructure. He also lead technical projects in conjunction with multinational firms to launch a successful Pan-European eCommerce platform.
