 How is market price determined?
Answer

PearlsOnly.com determines the market value of our pearls using a composite of three methods:

1. Our collection of sample pearls regularly undergoes independent GIA (Gemological Institute of America) appraisals for each grade and color.

2. The retail prices for pearls of similar quality in major retail stores in US and Canada are considered. In particular, we compare our reference strings to stores in Los Angeles , Las Vegas , Houston , Dallas , New York and Calgary , Canada

3. The localized feedback received from customers after independent appraised in local markets.

Since prices naturally vary between local markets, calculating a mean average using the above methods provides, for our purposes, an accurate and fair market price. PearlsOnly guarantees that all pearls sold to you will be appraised at a minimum of double our retail price.
